Cindy Lou Who of “the Grinch” movie fame will have a place to lay her head in 2009 at the “Holly”wood Christmas Movie Land Museum near Cleveland, OH.
In a recent acquisition for the museum, we have procured the bedroom set right from our favorite Who family house.
Sleep well kids, and keep the ideas of the Grinch sneeking down your chimney out of your mind!

We can’t wait to showcase our latest acquisition for the museum! We have identified and collected 12 costumes used in Patrick Stewart’s Christmas Carol! Costumes include those of ghosts, and from Patrick Stewart himself!
This rendition of the classic Dickens story is one of our favorites, and it’s so exciting to have a part of that right here at “Holly”-wood Christmas Movieland!

We’ve just received word that Mark Klaus has just obtained another costume from the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie “Jingle All the Way”. The details of this piece obtained from a private collector will be made in late 2009. We promise it will be on display at our Cleveland museum starting in November, 2009.

2009 promises to be an outstanding year for Mark Klaus’ HOLLY-Wood Christmas MovieLand. As great as 2008 was, we plan on greatly increasing the breadth and quantity of our displays at a yet to be disclosed location (don’t worry- our premier location is going to stay right here in North East Ohio, we’re not North Pole bound!)
At the end of 2008, Mark Klaus had the amazing good fortune to come across a vast collection of the original HIgbee’s department store building props used in display windows for decades at Higbee’s downtown Cleveland location.
All of these buildings are being restored to their original glory, and will be on display in 2009 at our museum. Nothing in Cleveland says more about Christmas than this upcoming display. We can’t wait to share it with you.
Take a look at a great collection of vintage Higbee’s photographs, found at the Cleveland Memory Project.

Just flown in for this year’s Hollywood Christmas Movieland - the actual mask worn for the ‘childhood years’ spot in the Grinch movie. The mask was used for two sets of scenes -both pre-shaved, and post-shaved.
Obviously the mask is now shaved- you can even see the toilet paper wads covering up its razor cuts.
This is a great addition to our museum.
See it now before our Museum closes for the season!
